SSiC Plate

The SSiC Plate, also known as pressureless sintered silicon carbide plate, is manufactured through isostatic pressing or extrusion forming and sintered at high temperatures.

It is used in thermal equipment and kilns for indirect heating of products and to ensure a uniform temperature field.

Exceptional High-Temperature Strength: Maintains mechanical integrity up to 1700°C.

Excellent Corrosion and Oxidation Resistance: Stable in acidic, alkaline, and oxidizing environments.

Superior Thermal Shock Resistance: Can endure rapid temperature changes without cracking.

High Hardness and Wear Resistance: Mohs hardness >9, suitable for repeated long-term use.

Low Thermal Expansion: Ensures dimensional stability during heating cycles.

Good Flatness and Lightweight: Enhances energy efficiency and loading capacity in kilns.
Thickness as thin as 2mm.

No deformation at high temperatures, with excellent flatness.

Applications:
As kiln shelves or setter plates for ceramic, electronic, glass bending and forming machines.
Radiant plates and heat spreading plates for LPCVD and diffusion furnaces used in solar cell production.
Other electrically heated industrial kilns for indirect heating.
